Earl Vance (better known as Count Vance) is the father of Leina, Elina, and Claudette and the husband of Maria. He is also the leader of the Vance Army.

Appearance[]

He wears a white overcoat with light brown ends and steel-plated boots.

Personality[]

He is very strict with his children, a lifestyle he had to adopt after his wife, Maria died. He is especially tough on Claudette, as she is not in line for the throne and wants to see her succeed, but his kindness does break through from time to time. He abhors the Queen's Blade tournament, as it was the cause of his wife's death, and took matters into his own hands by trying to dismantle it with his force. He likewise hates the Queen's Blade because of the tournament system it instated, thereby replacing the hierarchy system.

Abilities[]

He has no real known abilities, but he is a charismatic leader and many people idolize him, which seems to be a trait he passed onto his daughters.

Trivia[]

He is voiced by Atsushi Ono (Japanese) and Dan Green (English).
The anime adaptation is the only adaptation in which he appears physically in any way.
